On March 30, 2017 we welcomed Ambassador Kenichiro Sasae at Davis Wright Tremaine for a Q&A discussion on the environment, domestic and international policy, and trade in regards to the U.S.-Japan relationship. Prior to his arrival, attendees divided into groups to discuss the topics and prepare questions to ask the Ambassador. Ambassador Sasae gave our members new insights into U.S.-Japan relations while giving thorough responses to their questions. It is sad to say that Ambassador Sasae’s term will be ending in just a few months; however, we will never forget the contributions he made to our community and to both countries.

Lastly, a warm thank you to our members and guests who joined us for an evening of stimulating conversation, and to Hamanasu for “fueling” the discussion by providing delicious bento!
