Local USJC members gathered at John and Sharon Okamoto’s home to welcome U.S.-Japan Council President Irene Hirano Inouye and SVP Kaz Maniwa. JASSW is the recipient of a grant from USJC’s Tomodachi Initiative to implement a two year grassroots student exchange. This year, eight Fukushima University students visited Seattle.
