Thank you to everyone who joined us at The Foundy by Herban Feast for our Kobe Beef night. We celebrated the history and culture of Kobe while enjoying delicious authentic Kobe Beef as well as samples of wine and sake from Kobe. Chef John Howie of John Howie steak gave a lecture on how to properly prepare and consume Kobe Beef. He did a fantastic job of answering audience questions, and it didn’t hurt that he was giving out freshly prepared samples of the steaks too! We also had representatives from the city of Kobe to give some background into how Kobe Beef gained its world renown reputation.
The cherry on top was the performance by a Seattle-Kobe Jazz Vocalist, Leah Natale and her band Ambience. Good food, good music, and good company is a recipe for success at any event in our book!
