The Japan-America Society of the State of Washington hosted our 4th annual Kimono Jack reception at Benaroya Hall in conjunction with the Celebrate Asia concert. Many beautiful kimono were on display, and we had a special performance by Seattle Miyagi-kai Association’s Kuniko Takamura and her two apprentices. The performance was a treasure and just as entertaining to watch as it was to listen to. Thank you to everyone who attended, including special guest Akiko Omura, wife of Consul General Masahiro Omura.
