Japan In the School (JIS) Volunteer Program
Japan In the School (JIS) is a signature education program of the Japan-America Society of the State of Washington (JASSW). It brings hands-on, culturally immersive learning experiences directly to K–12 classrooms in King and Snohomish Counties.
Led by experienced presenters and supported by trained volunteers, each 50-minute interactive session recreates an authentic Japanese school experience—offered at no cost to schools, thanks to the generous support of our donors.
