Join us for a peaceful summer afternoon immersed in the art of Japanese tea and seasonal flowers at the beautiful Bellevue Botanical Garden on Saturday, June 14, 2025.
Hosted by the Tankokai Seattle Association, this special event will feature Chado (the Way of Tea) and Chabana (the seasonal flower arrangements used in the tea ceremony). Guests will have the opportunity to observe a traditional tea ceremony and learn about the seasonal sensibilities behind Chabana, both set in the serene natural surroundings of the garden.
This is a wonderful chance to experience the harmony of Japanese aesthetics and nature, and to gain insight into cultural traditions that continue to be passed down today.
