The 50th Annual Seattle Cherry Blossom & Japanese Cultural Festival is coming up fast and we need volunteers. The festival is happening April 11-13, 2025, from 11 am – 5pm at the Seattle Center.
The mission of the Seattle Cherry Blossom & Japanese Cultural Festival is to increase understanding and friendship between the people of Japan and the Pacific Northwest through cultural programs, arts, technologies, and a celebration of the rich heritage of Japan and the Japanese American community that calls the Pacific Northwest home. This year will include exciting new programs including an art exhibit and a collaboration with Rain City Sumo to bring its first open tournament! This festival is always free to attendees and cannot happen without the support of our amazing group of volunteers who show up to support us every year.
Volunteer Opportunity:
Volunteer roles include gift shop and food sales, security, info booths, emceeing the various stages and helping with children’s activities among others. Whether you are a returning volunteer or new to us, there is something for everyone!
Please note, we ask that volunteers be at least 16 unless accompanied by an adult.
Volunteering at the Seattle Cherry Blossom & Japanese Cultural Festival is a great way to meet new friends, support the community and have fun while doing it! It is also a great way for students to get their community service in while learning more about Japanese culture. We hope you will join us.
