This year the Japan-America Society of the State of Washington is Celebrating WASHOKU through Japan’s world famous liquor. Have you ever tasted the cool, sweet clarity of premium grade sake? Only 6% of sake produced in Japan is of the highest level, ‘premium grade’ sake. While sake, much like wine or whiskey, can be savored on its own, it can also enhance a meal! Not only exquisite when paired with traditional Japanese food, flavor notes in different types of sake also lend themselves to other gourmet cuisines.
