Keynote speaker: Daniel S. Fulton, President and CEO of Weyerhaeuser.

Daniel S. Fulton was elected chief executive officer and a member of the board of directors in April 2008. He has been president of Weyerhaeuser Company since January 2008.

2013 Thomas S. Foley Award: William E. Franklin
The annual Thomas S. Foley Award was created to recognize the person or company that has continuously contributed their efforts and energy toward promoting better understanding of both cultural and economic issues between the people of Washington State and Japan.
This year’s award winner is William E. Franklin. Join us to honor this past President of the American Chamber of Commerce in Japan and former President of Weyerhaeuser Far East Limited.
This award is named in honor of a great American and Washington State native, the honorable Thomas S. Foley, former Speaker of the U.S. House of Representatives and Ambassador to Japan (1997   2001), who worked continuously to improve and foster the relationship between Japan and the United States.
