This Monday, May 27th, is Memorial Day where Americans remember the men and women who died while serving in the United States Armed Forces. JASSW will join many other Japanese and American organizations and individuals to remember the Japanese-American soldiers who made the ultimate sacrifice for their country.

Honor, duty, obligation to family are Japanese values that the original Nisei inherited from the Issei that enabled them to overcome racial prejudice and prove their loyalty under the most difficult circumstances. Join us to honor those brave souls.

The Nisei Veterans Committee (NVC) and NVC Foundation Memorial Day Ceremony is open to all.
