Green Ammonia as a Clean Energy Fuel: Japan and US Perspectives

A Business Roundtable Webinar

In recent years, the world’s industrial countries have been wrestling with the challenge of reducing fossil-fuel emissions to slow the pace of global warming. Toward this end, Japan is presently investing heavily in “green ammonia,” or ammonia (NH3) produced using renewable energy, as an alternative fuel for coal-burning power stations and shipping. The webinar will introduce and explore Japan’s green-ammonia initiative, within the context of its other “clean-tech” initiatives. It is intended to foster thinking about new business opportunities in the Pacific Northwest.
