Our annual Holiday Celebration Dinner & Auction was a success!

The night started off with a bit of fun with our wine toss (someone won three bottles!), bidding in our silent auction room, and a lively performance by the Evergreen Glee Club. After a bit of sipping on cocktails, bidding, and networking, OKK Taiko led everyone into the ballroom with the booming sounds of their drums.

While enjoying a jazz performance by the Kareem Kandi Band, dinner was served. Karin Zaugg Black, our acting chair who looked lovely in her kimono last night, gave some opening remarks and our live auction started! Our guests raised their bid cards, winning some wine donated by our board members, and trips to Disneyland and Japan. Some fought for the one surprise bottle of Hibiki Whiskey during Raise the Paddle and some won a surprise box of Fran’s Chocolate if they had been to Japan the most recently at their table.

Congratulations to Tom Sasaki for winning the 2018 Lily McMahan Outstanding Volunteer Award! Thank you to all of our donors  who made this event possible! Thank you to all of our volunteers, who were all fantastic! Thank you to our sponsor for this years Holiday Celebration and a big round of applause to our committee members.
