Eight students and a professor chaperone from Fukushima University are in Seattle thanks to a Tomodachi program grant from the U.S.-Japan Council. They arrived on Monday, Sept 8th. They got corporate visits to Starbucks, Microsoft, and Boeing. They participated in two Japan-in-he Schools classes at Thurgood Marshall Elementary and O’Dea High School, and had some fun doing the Ride the Ducks tour of Seattle. Many thanks to the host families!
